The ceremony is being held today at the SET building with Kittiratt Na-Ranong, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, presiding over the ceremony and bestowing the awards.

In addition to the SET Awards in various categories, SET Award of Honor is given to those maintaining prominence in a given area for three or more consecutive years. Of the 11 Awards of Honor this year, four are Excellence in Corporate Governance Report (CGR), Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility, Excellence in Investor Relations, and Excellence as a Securities Company for institutional investors.

SET Awards 2012 ceremony will be on November 22, under the concept “Matching Your Right Financial Opportunities,” underlining SET’s commitment to connect business opportunities and investment for all stakeholders of SET. There were 36 companies receiving 43 awards, covering key activities which the capital market emphasizes. Some awards were divided by company size and type of business in order to reflect the market’s breadth and depth.
