“Saint-Gobain Thailand” embarked on its first CSR mission: “Saint-Gobain Gives and Gets” Supporting the building of “Sorndee-Chaipattana Child Development Center” at Sorndee School, Ayutthaya

Saint-Gobain Group, the world’s largest building materials company, embarked on its first CSR activity in Thailand to help support the building of “Sorndee-Chaipattana Child Development Center” at Sorndee School, Ayutthaya. Led by Mr. Matthew Walker (center), Managing Director of Thai Gypsum Products PCL, the CSR initiative entitled: “Saint-Gobain Gives and Gets” brought together over 60 volunteers who are staff members from four companies operated under the Saint-Gobian Group in Thailand, including Thai Gypsum Products PCL, Saint-Gobain Weber Co., Ltd, Saint-Gobain Abrasives (Thailand) Ltd, and Saint-Gobain Sekurit Thailand, Co., Ltd. The Sorndee-Chaipattana Child Development Center was built under the joint supports from Saint-Gobain Thailand and Chaipattana Foundation to serve as nursery area for pre-school children and classrooms for students of Kindergarten 1 and 2 at Sorndee School, Ladbualuang District, Ayutthaya. The CSR activity was held recently with Saint-Gobain’s vision to continuously contribute to society and community where its companies operate as well as to improve children’s development and quality of life.
