AirAsia commemorates being named ‘World’s Best Low Cost Airline’ for 6 years straight (2009-2014) by Skytrax, which surveys over 18.9 million passengers worldwide, with a special promotion thanking all of its supporters with fares across its network of routes starting at only 666 THB per trip (*includes airport tax and fuel surcharge).

Bookings are available for the promotional fares this 4-10 August 2014 for travel from 5 August-14 December 2014 at www.airasia.com and all of the airline’s ticketing channels.

Mr. Tassapon Bijleveld, CEO of Thai AirAsia, remarked that Skytrax’s continued recognition serves as a guarantee of AirAsia’s world class standard as it is derived from a vote of over 18.9 million passengers from 160 countries choosing from 200 airlines from across the globe. He stated that AirAsia’s pride is thanks to its passengers’ confidence and trust and voiced hope that the airline’s customers would see this latest promotion as a sign of appreciation as well as an opportunity to experience a new kind of flying.

The promotional fares are available for all of AirAsia’s destinations from Don Mueang Airport in Bangkok and include domestic stops such as Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phitsanulok, Khon Kaen, Hat Yai, Krabi, Phuket, Surat Thani, Ubon Ratchathani, Udon Thani and more; including its newest addition Sakon Nakhon. International destinations include Yangon, Mandalay, Singapore, Penang, Hong Kong, Macau, Chongqing, Guang Zhou, Wuhan, Shenzen, Xi’an, Chennai and Phnom Penh.

To celebrate Thai AirAsia X’s achievement, it has organized promotional fares from Don Mueang Airport to Seoul, South Korea. Book online at a starting fare of only 3,666 THB per trip in economy and 9,600 THB per trip in business class. The airline also recently launched flights to Tokyo and Osaka of Japan.
