On 12th March 2016, Centara Karon Resort Phuket held The 22nd Annual Mekong Cup International Ball Hockey Tournament. They had many participants from Hong Kong, Singapore, Canada and Thailand who joined this tournament. The winner of the tournament was the Hong Kong Team. The Mekong Cup is a Ball Hockey event held annually in Phuket, Thailand since 1995.
