Thitima Wongchujitr, an Education Sector Consultant at PacRim Education, Thailand's sole representative of FranklinCovey Education, said Sahavith Piman Chiang Mai School, Pimandek School Chiangmai, and Mekkajorn Chiangmai School have been named the "Leader in Me Lighthouse School", joining in the rank of some 600 schools around the world which have won this international recognition to date.

"We are very excited to announce this news. It is a truly achievement considering the gold standard set by FranklinCovey which have only awarded schools that have achieved outstanding results in schools and student outcomes with fidelity," she said.

Sahavith Piman Chiang Mai School has become the first kindergarten in Thailand to attain the Lighthouse School certificate.

Leader in Me is a whole-school transformational model-developed in partnership with educators-that empowers students with the leadership and life skills they need to thrive in the 21st century. There are more than 5,000 schools in more than 50 countries around the world that have implemented the Leader in Me principles and practices.

Prior to this announcement, nevertheless, there were only two schools in Thailand that had achieved the Lighthouse School certificate---the Satit Bangna School, and the Pratchatorn School.

"PacRim Education is very proud to be part of this latest achievement through our collaboration with these three latest schools to help Thai children and Thai schools moving forward to the international level," said the PacRim executive.
