Gojek extends COVID-19 insurance for its driver partners Company to collaborate with Dhipaya Insurance to offer coverage of up to 80,000THB

Gojek, Southeast Asia's leading mobile on-demand services platform, today announced a collaboration with Dhipaya Insurance, Thailand's leading insurance company, to provide Gojek's driver partners with COVID-19 insurance as part of ongoing support measures.

The insurance includes four months of coverage against COVID-19 infection and vaccination side effects, comprising medical expenses of up to 8,000THB, loss of income compensation of maximum 400THB per day, medical expenses for coma or severe illness of up to 80,000THB and COVID-19 testing for themselves and their family members up to 5,000THB. UltraPro and SuperPro driver partners will receive a 100% subsidy on the insurance premium while a 50% subsidy will be offered to Pro driver partners. Registration is open until June 6, 2021, and the coverage will run from June 9 - October 9, 2021 for those who registered in this phase.

The partnership with Dhipaya is part of Gojek's GoStronger initiative, an effort to help ensure the health, livelihoods and safety of everyone across its ecosystem. The insurance program is a continuation of the COVID-19 insurance program launched during the first outbreak in March 2020, which offered a one-year-coverage to the driver partners free of charge.
