Aileng Foods introduces 'Mae-A', launching with sweet sticky rice with shredded shrimp and coconut topping and sangkhaya topping for Thai dessert lovers, now available at 7-Eleven nationwide

Aileng Food Industries, a well-established manufacturer in the confectionery industry based in Thailand with 50 years of history and experience today introduces a new brand 'Mae-A' under the concept 'Thai desserts for every moment'. The brand is launching two new products at 7-Eleven -- sweet sticky rice with shredded shrimp and coconut topping and traditional Thai sangkhaya topping. The products are made with the best ingredients sourced from local suppliers and farmers in Thailand with top innovations to drive better food quality and food safety meeting internationonal standards. The desserts are packaged in a conveniently sized 90g pack to be enjoyed on the go, priced at only 19 baht. Both products will be available at 7-Eleven nationwide by the end of May.

The sweet sticky rice with shredded shrimp and coconut topping and traditional Thai sangkhaya topping use 'Kheaw Ngu' sticky rice from Chiang Rai which is full and soft. The grains can better absorb the coconut milk, which is made from special grade coconuts from Pranburi in Prachuap Khiri Khan, seasoned with sugar and salt to achieve the perfect balance. Fragrant pandan leaves are placed inside the steaming pot in which the rice is steamed for at least five hours. There are two toppings at the moment which are popular among Thais. The shredded shrimp and coconut topping uses coconut from Pranburi, cooked with an ancient recipe with spices and a pinch of salt. The traditional Thai sangkhaya topping is made with premium duck eggs, seasoned with coconut sugar from the river banks of Kanchanaburi, grown without chemicals and no flour is added.

From Aileng Foods' experience in the industry and its expertise in B2B manufacturing in the confectionery industry over the past 50 years, the company is capable and ready for this expansion into a new business line to add value to its product offerings, particularly Thai desserts in convenience stores. Mae-A is a brand that caters to the needs of modern consumers who love Thai desserts and seek convenience and accessibility.
