Mr. Chan Sirirat, Deputy Managing Director of Facility Management Division, Plus Property Company Limited, the full-service professional property and facility management agency, disclosed PLUS's plans for its facility management business in 2022, saying the company remains committed to making business progress despite challenges presented by the economic slowdown and the spread of COVID-19. The latter has affected the model of work and of office space usage, but office buildings remain indispensable. According to Mr. Chan, office spaces would need to become more flexible and adjusted to suit the nature of usage. Importance would have to be given to managing safety and wellness for building users. PLUS has been able to make the aforementioned adjustments and has been advising building owners to enable them to navigate the challenges. Most recently, it has secured advisory roles for the management of office spaces and facilities at 2 development projects, namely the Office of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Vibhavadi Rd. and the Krungthai-AXA Life Insurance Plc. (KTAXA) headquarters in the South Wing of G Tower Grand Rama 9 on Rama 9 Rd. The work involves providing consultation and advice on facility management; building systems engineering; physical security & safety; occupational safety, health and environment; and management of office space and amenities.

PLUS places importance in sustainability in its operations, and this has become a focus in all of its businesses. Transitioning a business toward sustainability requires a gradual change - PLUS helps to provide a driving force for other businesses in the form of partnerships with building owners, who share the same will of creating sustainability. Aside from its services for facility management and building systems engineering, PLUS gives out advice and provides support to building owners' pursuits of standards improvement in various aspects. Numerous successes have been had up until today, some of which include the Building Safety Awards (BSA) 2021 from the Building Inspectors Association, the Asian Building Fire Safety Award conferred to the Stock Exchange of Thailand building, the ISO 14001 standard certification given to the SCB headquarters building at SCB Park, and the conferment of the Fitwel certification on Siri Campus and the Stock Exchange of Thailand buildings for meeting the global standard for the wellbeing of building users.

"With the integration of sustainability having now become the 'future' that businesses may not overlook, the business sector needs to undergo a transformation that corresponds to this wave of changes. PLUS starts by proposing innovations or models that integrate technology with process design, for the purpose of reducing energy use. The development of HVAC diagnostics and solving-based AI lets AI and IoT help control, analyse and command the air-conditioning system in buildings. The system is also able to autonomously inspect parameters and issue commands in real-time, to maintain the air quality, reduce energy costs and mitigate impacts on the environment," said Mr. Chan.

For its commercial buildings and facility management business in 2022, PLUS will continue to acquire additional projects.  The company currently manages the headquarters buildings of banking and investment firms, hospital businesses, educational institutes and community malls.  PLUS has the preparedness to deliver its facility management service spanning all types of buildings.  Those interested may call 02-688-7555 or view additional information at
