Mr. Chaichana Mitrpant, Executive Director of Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA), said that the changing of consumer behavior and the rapid progress on technology have impacted on the economy and the society. Business models need adjusting by adopting new technologies and improving both knowledge and human resources to enable them to work more efficiently in the digital era. Meanwhile, the public sector's policies focus on the development of human resources to enhance their competitiveness.
Being an agency to improve Thai people's lives with digital technologies, ETDA has been promoting and supporting activities to make digital transactions secure and reliable. Those activities are, for example, the development of human resources in e-Transaction and e-Commerce to serve high demand in both public and private sectors, the development of standards to enhance competitiveness and efficiency in organizations, and the training of turning young generations to be "digital coaches'. All of these activities have finally led to the establishment of the Academy of Digital Transformation by ETDA (ADTE), which becomes a hub and platform of digital knowledge transferred by experts from the country's top organizations. It has been transferring knowledge and developing all groups of people from the public sector and the private sector, entrepreneurs and the public through digital courses since a while.
To make Thai people ready for the changes, ADTE by ETDA has created "ADVANCE YOUR DIGITAL WORKFORCE" course series to unlock limitations and create opportunities for the future growth in all sizes of organizations. Digital experts from ETDA and the public agencies, as well as well-known technology firms, will attend these courses to pass on their knowledge and exchange insights.
The 6 ADVANCE YOUR DIGITAL WORKFORCE courses comprise Digital Signature (how to use digital signature properly and legally), Digital ID (how to properly use technology for digital identity and verification, which is a key factor for online transaction), Digital Transformation (how to transform organizations into digital workplaces), Digital Security (procedures of how to cope with cyber security crimes with interesting case studies from ETDA personnels), Digital Commerce (learn about e-Commerce from beginners to intermediate levels to upgrade the selling skills in digital world), and Digital Literacy (learning in five criteria of how to use the internet creatively). All these six courses will be commenced from March 2022 onwards.
