In sharing the news, MONIX Chief Operating Officer Thiranun Arunwattanakul, said, "We are creating the FINNIX digital lending application to become a truly customer-centric platform. Along with providing credit and focusing on the issue of unfair informal debt in order to make Thai people financially happy, we are also working to strengthen our clients' finances, enabling them to work more and earn more. During the COVID-19 outbreak, with the economy still fragile, many may find themselves unable to make ends meet, resulting in an unintentional credit score loss. The FINNIX application has been seeking partners who share our commitment to creating jobs and sustaining incomes for our customers. Initially, we have partnered with world-class platforms Lazada and foodpanda, as well as a homegrown start-up application BeNeat, to support a "Let Self-employed Thrive" campaign offering special privileges to those who apply to be Lazada sellers, foodpanda delivery riders, or BeNeat cleaners via the FINNIX application, which is simple to apply for and enables users to start earning money quickly."

"At the beginning of the campaign, FINNIX application users signing up for the three platforms experienced an increase in liquidity, as evidenced by their ability to maintain a credit score. Additionally, our records indicate that they were able to quickly close loan balances with FINNIX and request new loans to use as cashflow for business operations. As a result, we anticipate that approximately 5,000 self-employed individuals across the country will initially participate in the campaign, contributing significantly to the continued growth of FINNIX nano finance loans this year. We saw exponential growth of up to 800% last year compared to the previous year."
Currently, the FINNIX application enables individuals without financial documents or those with a monthly income of 8,000 baht or more to obtain legal access to amortized loans at a low monthly interest rate of only 2.75%. Borrowers may terminate their loans at any time without incurring any fees. Currently, the application has over 6 million downloads and has disbursed over 9 billion baht in nano loans.

Lazada Thailand VP, Head of Seller Platform Panasm Wongbencharat noted that, "Lazada is committed to promoting small businesses in Thailand by making it easier for nano entrepreneurs to conduct business on the Lazada platform. FINNIX is a critical partner with whom we share a common goal, and it is through our partners that we are able to identify small players interested in growing alongside us. Lazada has launched new merchant assistance packages and various privileges to assist Thai sellers in increasing their capacity to sell on the Lazada platform. Additionally, Lazada University offers relevant courses and sales tips to educate Thai SMEs on how to enter e-commerce efficiently, from the initial stages to campaign and marketing participation, as well as ongoing skill development. Lazada is always by the side of those who work hard to earn a living."
