Mr. Tirachart added that the BEV market has quickly become more active thanks to the government's supportive measures and positive feedback from car buyers amid rising oil prices. Sales of new BEVs in the first six months of this year reached 3,097 units, compared to only 2,560 units last year. On top of this were BEV bookings during and just after the Bangkok International Motor Show 2022, which are now in the car delivery process. KResearch projects that EV sales this year may reach approximately 10,000 units, or growth of more than 412.0 percent YoY, with total value of not less than 10,000 million Baht.
