The B-Quik Thailand Super Series 2022 Championship resumed racing with race 3 and 4 at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram, Thailand. Sandy Kraokaew Stuvik would once again be sharing driving duties with Malaysian racing driver Akash Nandy. The pair got off to a great start in the official practice sessions, staying consistently in the top 3.

On Saturday morning the qualifications took place, with Nandy taking the wheel for Q1 to determine his starting position for Race 1. After a strong session, Nandy claimed P2 in the session and a front row start for the first race of the weekend. Sandy then got in for Q2 to determine his starting position for the final race of the weekend on Sunday. Sandy drove a great lap and managed to claim Pole Position for Sunday's race.

Race 1 took place on Saturday afternoon, with Akash Nandy taking the race start. After a clean start, Nandy found himself in 2nd position chasing down the leader. The Malaysian driver managed to overtake the race leader near the end of his stint and began pulling a gap to the field. It was then time for the mandatory pit-stop, and Sandy took the wheel for the remainder of the race. With a large gap to close due to the pit-stop penalty time for being a Silver-Silver driver pairing, the Thai driver got to work making up positions. Sandy climbed steadily up the order and eventually finished the race in 2nd position.

"That was a fun race and a very challenging climb back up the order, but it was exciting from start to finish. I'm very happy with the result today all things considered." Says Sandy after the race.

Race 2 took place on Sunday at noon, and Sandy would be at the wheel of the #25 B-Quik Absolute Racing Team Audi R8 GT3 Evo II. After a fantastic start Sandy began building a gap to the field by setting consistently fast laps. During the pit-window opened, Sandy handed over to his teammate, and the duo had to endure an even longer pit-stop than usual due to an additional success time penalty for their 2nd place finish in yesterday's race. Nandy rejoined the race in 7th position and began hunting down the field. After a great drive the Malaysian racing driver crossed the line in 2nd position, to cap off a very successful points haul for the #25 crew. "I feel like the win was possible today but we gave it our best shot and sadly came up just a few seconds short. We have gained a lot of points this weekend and our Audi R8 GT3 Evo II by B-Quik Absolute Racing has been perfect all weekend. I look forward to doing it all again at round 5 and 6!" Says Sandy.

The next round of the B-Quik Thailand Super Series will take place at the same venue on October 27 to 30,2022.
