CIMB Thai wins ASEAN regional award "Outstanding Marketing Initiative for a New Product Award", from GRB Innovation Awards 2022, for 3 consecutive years

Mrs. Thiratida Kuvantrarai, Head of Consumer Marketing of CIMB Thai, received the Outstanding Marketing Initiative for a New Product Award from Global Retail Banking Innovation Awards 2022, hosted by THE DIGITAL BANKER, for 3 consecutive years. This Award winning shows recognition of CIMB Thai's distinguished Speed D Plus Savings Campaign with high interest rate ("Speed D+"), which can well address the needs of customers who wish to place money in savings account while waiting for the right investment opportunities amid high economic volatility caused by COVID-19 pandemic and other factors. The Speed D+ offers high interest rate of 1.60% per annum and enables customers to self-manage their own transactions and investments via CIMB THAI Digital Banking. At the opening of the Campaign, there were a lot of interested customers opening Speed D+ accounts, so that CIMB Thai could achieve deposit mobilization as much as THB 5,000 million. The Award ceremony was recently held at Andaz Singapore Hotel.
