For the Social criteria, the score can be attributed to BJC's improvement in labor practices initiatives, emphasizing on discrimination & harassment management, in addition to the improved control for talent attraction and retention. Furthermore, the score for Governance & Economics criteria has been achieved as a result of continuous improvements and implemented initiatives to foster good corporate governance. Finally, for the Environment criteria, the score is the result of BJC's focus on the development and improvement of production in all aspects. Emphasis is placed on using less raw materials to produce packaging. There is also a reduction in water use throughout the operation and a focus on developing and improving the sustainable agricultural practices.
