OPEN HOUSE: Co-Living Space, 6th floor, Central Embassy has created a National Children's Day event called OPEN FEST: Junior Internship Days with internship simulation activities for children to take on the role of various interesting professions, whether it is an archaeologist, chef, scientist, designer, or an ecologist. Starting from filling out a job application, taking photos, making an employee card, getting a real internship up to receiving an Internship Certificate of Completion.
In addition, they can enjoy a variety of activities for children. And don't miss out on a special children's menu from leading restaurants on 14-15 January 2023 at OPEN HOUSE, Level 6, Central Embassy.
To begin with the Junior Archaeologist by Digitup, it allows children to follow their dreams of being archaeologists with a variety of workshop activities such as Fossil Hunter, dinosaur fossil digging workshops to let the kids try to dig and find dinosaur fossils in a large sand pit. Next, the fossilization activity making fossil replicas where they can learn about the dinosaur fossils and color their own replica fossils to take home. Or the Dinosaur Skeleton workshop to disassemble dinosaur skeleton parts and reassemble them into a full dinosaur skeleton. Or those who want to fulfill a youth dream of becoming a little chef, also can join the Junior Chef by Okonomi workshop where children can practice being a little chef. The Okonomi Cafe, a Japanese-style restaurant, will teach how to make rice balls to practice cooking skills for children participating in this workshop as well.
Anyone who has a dream to become a scientist internship, can join the Junior Scientist by Mad Science workshop to learn and prepare to be a scientist with 4 activities that will switch every 20 minutes. First, the Magical Air workshop - the amazing air to discover the fascinating secrets of the air. Next, the Joyful Light - straight line laser, where kids will do an experiment to discover the secret of light. Then, the Illusory Sight - the optical illusion to challenge the kids as to what we see and the reality are they the same? And the last one, Mysterious Sound - listen to the strange sounds and invite children to listen to strange sounds from objects around them such as metal spoons, hangers, etc., so that children can discover the wonders of the sounds around them.
There is also a virtual design internship with Junior Fashion Designer by Little Sister workshop to help young children learn to be a designer. The chic clothing brand like Sretsis will fulfill the dream for youngsters to try out their own style of clothing and create their own clothing brand as well. The last workshop, a Junior Ecologist by Little Legend, is for anyone who has aspirations of becoming an ecologist by modeling and teaching the basics of composting from clay, leaves, leftovers and rocks, using dough materials so that they can learn about the ecology as well.
Very special for children under 12 years old; the kids can register taking pictures to make an internship card including to receive internship documents and intern hat when they have participated in all 5 activities, they will receive a coupon to redeem for free an ice cream from Albero (1 cup), along with free popcorn and movie tickets for children.
