Mr. Alex Loh, Chief Operating Officer of Symphony Communication Public Company Limited, a leading telecommunication service provider or SYMC, said, "Our strong result underscores the progress we have made, executing our strategy as the economy reopened after the Covid-19 pandemic started in 2020. In fact, last year was a major rebound in our core business, especially with resumed spending by domestic enterprises towards their digitalization coupled with robust continued growth in international data connectivity.

Mr. Alex added that 2022 was the best-performing year since 2015, when the business was in a declining mode. As a result, the company has gone through a major turnaround business (during 2018-2019) and continued the growth momentum thereafter until now. The company has made good progress towards becoming one of the leading and preferred fixed-line connectivity service providers, focusing domestically and regionally.

Given the sound financial position, the Board of Directors proposed the dividend payment for 2022 of 0.0935 baht per share and will present it to shareholders at the 2023 Annual General Meeting on 11 April 2023.

For 2023, the macroeconomic outlook has become more challenging with persistently high inflation and rising utility costs, likely to continue curbing economic growth. The company maintains its commitment and focus on weathering the headwinds given its prudence approach through cost discipline and operational efficiencies and remains committed to investing in our people and capabilities to create sustainable value over the long term.

"We will continue to invest 15-20% of our revenue this year on Capex investment, reflecting our continued commitment to expanding into new growth areas to support digitalization by every organization, especially in the ICT, cloud, and managed security services. Also, we aim to invest in new technologies for stronger network reliability and resilience and deliver Excellent Customers Experience and Connectivity Excellence," said Mr Alex.
