The Mango Art Festival 2023 is set to celebrate diversity, new beginnings, and discoveries through art. It is now ready to expand its territory internationally and provide a creative space for all artists and designers.
Mango, an art festival that embraces diversity and collaboration
Mango Art Event 2023 is marking its third year as a diverse lifestyle art festival. This year's theme, 'Rise,' is dedicated to spotlighting rising-star artists and designers by providing them with the creative space they need to showcase their talents to the public.
As in previous years, Mango Art Festival 2023 aims to present art lovers with the opportunity to engage with well-known artists, galleries, and product designers and connect them with art collectors. Our goal is to bring sellers and buyers together, introducing them to novel experiences of viewing and purchasing art.
The event was first held at Lhong 1919 in 2021, the event was subsequently relocated to River City Bangkok in 2022. With the theme 'A Vision for a Better Tomorrow,' which aimed to spark conversations about the environment, technology, and human potential.
Rise; the New Beginnings and Discoveries
Mango Art Festival 2023 will be held at River City Bangkok from May 2-7, 2023, with the theme 'Rise,' which suggests growth, expansion and prospects for partnership as well as boundless possibilities. As long as the sun emerges and sets each day and night, art will thrive.
This year's festival also aimed to shine a light on the next generation of emerging artists and designers by giving them the opportunity to exhibit their most recent work as well as to showcase international art galleries to the local audience by providing them with pieces that are worthy of investment.
As the theme 'Rise' implies, this festival is an opportunity for growth and discovery of endless possibilities of art and design.
3 Categories 4 Zones for Art, Product Designs, and Performance
The festival will showcase works in three categories; Art, Design, and Performance & Music. The space will be divided into four zones; Galleries Zone, Independent Artists Zone, Product Design Zone, and Art & Craft Zone with a dedicated area for Performance & Music.

3 Highlights at Mango Art Festival 2023
This year the festival has opened up more space for independent artists. The Mango team expects that this will lead to more opportunities for artists to market their art, be known by a bigger audience, and be able to support themselves and their families through their art. The Mango Team also believes with an increasing number of talented Thai artists, art can become one of Thailand's Soft Powers and help market the Kingdom as a country of talented artisans.
The Business Matching feature will remain a hallmark of the festival this year. Mango Art Festival aims to facilitate fruitful partnerships between artists and galleries.
In addition to becoming a partner of the festival, Formosa Art Fair from Taiwan, alongside other well-known galleries in Asia and Europe, has expanded the boundaries of art appreciation to an unprecedented degree.
One of the most anticipated highlights is the Talk sessions from experts in the art and lifestyle industry and a Debate session from politicians which will focus on the 'Creative Economy.'
