FPT continued striving and organised the 12th "Friends Donate Blood & Extend Lives for One Another" on 29-30 May 2023 at Samyan Mitrtown Shopping Centre. The event continued to be well-received by the staff of Frasers Property Thailand and Mitrtown Office Tower tenants, as well as high school students, university students, and the public. During the two-day event, there were 959 blood donors in total, with the campaign collecting 431,550 cc of blood.
During the 12th campaign, FPT blood donation volunteers were providing information to those who were interested in donating blood. This initiative played a crucial role in streamlining the process and alleviating the workload of Thai Red Cross Society staff. By sharing information and screening potential blood donors, it helped minimize the number of individuals who expressed interest in donating but were unable to do so and facilitated preparation for future blood donation campaigns. Moreover, the company handed out premium T-shirts with the design "Rainy Day" by the Artist Jung Supitcha Senarak as souvenirs to blood donors. With the latest campaign, FPT expanded blood donation activities to commercial buildings around Bangkok under its management including Sathorn Square, Park Ventures Ecoplex and FYI Center.
To date, the 12 campaigns have resulted in 3,930,550 cc of blood in total collected for the Thai Red Cross Society. The company intends to continue with quarterly blood donation campaigns. The next event is scheduled for 28-29 August 2023.
