Sandy set to compete for the Italian GT Endurance title

Thai racing driver and 3-time Thailand Super Series GT3 Champion Sandy Kraokaew has confirmed his intentions with an agreement that will see the reigning Thai GT3 Champion compete for the rest of the Campeonato Italiano Gran Turismo - Endurance (CIGT) championship with Audi Sport Italia in their Audi R8 GT3 Evo II. The next race will be on the 7th - 9th of July at Mugello, Italy. This will be the second event of four in the CIGT - Endurance. Having had a successful opening round in Pergusa with a 3rd  position, Sandy looks to continue in strong form and fight for the championship.

The Thai driver will once again share driving duties with his Italian teammates Marco Butti and Luca-Maria Attianese in the grey and orange liveried Audi.

Having had a successful opening round together in Pergusa, ending with a 3rd  position in the race, the Thai driver is looking forward to fighting for the top spots once again at the next round of the championship. The second race of the Italian GT Endurance will take place at the Mugello circuit, just outside Florence, Italy. It is a circuit Sandy has been at before, in his F3 days. "I am overjoyed to be joining Audi Sport Italia for the rest of this season, and it will be a pleasure to drive on Mugello again, such a large and beautiful facility, it is a very technical high-speed circuit which I truly enjoy driving." Says Sandy.

The Italian GT Endurance race at Mugello will take place on the 7th - 9th  of July, and will the second of a total of four rounds in the championship.
