Last year, we partnered with the World Vision Foundation of Thailand and the SOS Children's Villages Thailand to provide one million boxes of C-vitt mini drinks and sports gear, benefiting over 47,000 children nationwide. In addition, the C-vitt team actively educated children about essential vitamins for health benefits, helping them become healthier, stronger, happier, and more resistant to illness. However, according to a study conducted in 2023, many Thai children still experience nutritional problems that affect their development.
Therefore, this year, C-vitt continues the collaborative project "C-vitt: Toward a Brighter Future Together," taking part in efforts to mitigate malnutrition by providing 1,281,600 boxes of "C-vitt mini" drinks to benefit over 50,000 children in 250 schools under the supervision of the World Vision Foundation of Thailand and the SOS Children's Villages Thailand. This initiative aims to help them boost their vitamin C levels and build stronger immunity against diseases. The C-vitt team will also be on-site to provide education about essential vitamins for overall health. Furthermore, C-vitt has embraced the concept of promoting sustainable children's healthcare by initiating a pilot project to supply C-vitt mini drinks for daily intake to 900 students in nine remote schools for one year in the pursuit of improved health. These schools include Ban Nam Hom School in Tak, Ban Huai Chang Thaeng School in Phitsanulok, Ban Chan Bua School in Sisaket, Ban Thung Sawang School in Sisaket, Nasnad School in Chanthaburi, Ban Laem Sak School in Krabi, Wat Kok Pikul School in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Ban Huai Kwang Jing School in Phetchaburi, and Kaeng Krachan Wittayakhom School in Phetchaburi.

Mr. Arnon Suansri, Senior Governance and Compliance Manager of the World Vision Foundation of Thailand, said, "Last year's project witnessed significant success in strengthening the bodies and minds of over 46,300 children under the supervision of the foundation. Survey results revealed fewer illnesses during changing seasons, improved excretory systems, and increased happiness and enthusiasm in classrooms and when they spend fun time with friends.
Through the collaboration under the project "C-vitt: Building a Brighter Future Together - Year 2," the World Vision Foundation of Thailand is prepared to further extend assistance to more than 50,000 children in need of health and hygiene support. This effort is bolstered by the unwavering support of C-vitt, which seeks to assist children in two essential ways: expanding quantity by reaching more children with adequate vitamin C and improving quality by ensuring the health of these children on a sustainable basis."
Ms. Chantira Somboonkerd, Fund Development & Communications Director of the SOS Children's Villages Thailand, said, "Over the past year, C-vitt's support enabled more than 700 children at the SOS Children's Villages Thailand to access nutrition tailored for healthy growth. Vitamin C offers many health benefits, and it is vital for children under the foundation's care as they face seasonal illnesses and colds due to changing weather. Meanwhile, as they return to school and engage in activities, strengthening their health becomes even more essential.
This year's collaboration with C-vitt marks another significant step toward enhancing health support for over 700 children residing in the five SOS Children's Villages across the country, including Bang Pu, Samut Prakan, Hat Yai, Songkhla, Nong Khai, Chiang Rai, and Phuket. These children have lost their parents and lack close relatives, while the foundation provides them with a permanent replacement family filled with the warmth and love of 'Mae Sosa.' The support from C-vitt, therefore, serves as another valuable means of uplifting these children and reflecting society's care for them.
