Quality 4.0 Award to Trust and Confidence Ever Received from All Stakeholders

The Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa) thanked all partners and stakeholders for their trust and support ever given to the depa after receiving the Public Sector Management Quality 4.0 Award (PMQA 4.0) from the Office of the Public Sector Development Commission (OPDC) at the 2023 Public Sector Management Quality Award presentation ceremony. The award is a testament to the depa's commitment to achieving the new bureaucracy or 'Thai bureaucracy 4.0' that gives priority to delivering highly efficient performance and services for the best interest of the public. The depa will also continue improving quality management and working collaboratively with all stakeholders to accomplish the shared goals.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Nuttapon Nimmanphatcharin, President/CEO of depa, represented the depa to receive the Public Sector Management Quality Award: PMQA 4.0 (Advance Level) from Professor Emeritus Dr. Wissanu Krea-ngam, chairman of committee on bureaucratic development, at the 2023 Public Sector Management Quality Award presentation ceremony organized by the Office of the Public Sector Development Commission (OPDC). Senior executives, representatives and delegations from more than 200 government agencies also attended the award presentation ceremony to receive the PMQA in multiple categories from the OPDC.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Nuttapon said the Public Sector Management Quality Award is presented to a state agency with commitment to improving the quality of public service and organizational management efficiency. Over the years, the depa has prioritized optimizing organizational development in order to achieve the bureaucracy 4.0 system for the best interest of the public and become a state agency where people can truly trust. The depa also set ambitious goals in three areas, comprising becoming an open and integrated bureaucracy, a public-centric governance, and a highly-efficient and potentially advanced agency.

The depa has continuously provided support to enhance development of technologies and innovations as well as optimizing digital ecosystems that are relevant to diverse needs of the public. Moreover, the depa has also promoted adoption of advanced digital technologies and innovations in order to level up the potential, competitiveness and performances of its partner organizations and agencies. The depa also embraced a participatory approach to enhance engagement among all personnel across segments as well as fostering integrated collaboration with depa's partners. It also launched human resources empowerment programs aimed at leveling up the competency and potential of all employees. The depa has come up with initiatives that support public development in line with its vision "Working for the future of all Thais and taking the Thai digital economy to the forefront of the world," said President/CEO of depa.

At the Public Sector Management Quality 4.0 Award presentation ceremony, the depa also held an exhibition to showcase its outstanding achievement and initiatives ever launched, focusing on empowering organizational development and public services. The highlight is the Koh Libong Community: Digital Transformation for Smart Environment, a digital-driven project initiated to enhance development and adoption of digital innovation to empower community development in Koh Libong sub-district, Trang province. Additionally, the "Thailand Digital Catalog" was introduced as a mechanism to elevate the standards of the digital technology and innovation industry to improve effectiveness, maximize efficient performance and productivity of agencies and organizations in the public and private sectors. The depa hopes that Thai people will have greater access to standardized digital products and services and digital solutions that are available at reasonable prices.
