Tetra Pak, a world-leading processing and packaging solutions company, joined the four Nordic countries embassies, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and other partners in organising the Nordic Run 2023. The event, which took place in Benchakitti Park on 29th of October, was the first time when running enthusiasts could experience the authentic Nordic sense of well-being and a healthy lifestyle.
The Nordic Run offered both 5km and 10km distances options and fully embraced the notion that the main goal was to stay active, making it equally suitable for walkers and runners alike. The event concluded with a post-run snack session in the Nordic Village, where attendees could connect with the event partners. Notably, the Nordic Run took a stance on environmental impact, adhering to a 'Zero Waste' policy. This commitment meant that the event aimed to produce zero waste in the surrounding areas, emphasising the importance of reducing our ecological footprint.
Tetra Pak Thailand participated in the Nordic Run with a booth in the Nordic Village, where the company distributed water cartons, collected used cartons for recycling, and provided instructions on proper beverage carton disposal. The company also showcased their commitment 'Zero Waste' with a small exhibition and designated collection bins. In total Tetra Pak supplied 500 cartons of water for the event, underscoring the company's dedication to both well-being and environmental responsibility.
