World Teqball Championships 2023 in Bangkok Announces Broadcasting Deals, Sponsors, Gala Match with Legendary Footballer Ronaldinho.

The Federation Internationale de Teqball (FITEQ) announces its broadcasting deals and sponsor for the sixth edition of the World Teqball Championships to be held in Bangkok, Thailand from November 29 to December 3. Television channel MONO29 will exclusively broadcasting the matches live. International broadcasting partners ensure that the championships will be seen all over the globe by existing and new fans.

Ronaldinho Ga?cho, widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time, will be in the Bangkok Arena on December 2, as well as attend a meet and greet and autograph signing for fans on December 3 throughout the afternoon sessions on both days.

Ronaldino shared a message with teqball players and fans: "Hello everyone, my friends from Thailand, the Land of Smiles! Come and meet me at the World Teqball Championships 2023 in Bangkok. There will be the best teqball players in the world. I'll see you at the Bangkok Arena December 2 and 3. Big hug!"

Between the finals, players and fans will be entertained by Thai pop artists The Toys and Stamp Apiwat. The Toys, the Thai singer, rapper, songwriter, musician and record producer known for the viral hit song "Na Nao Tee Laew," will perform on December 2. Alt-rock recording star and former "The Voice" judge Stamp Apiwat will perform on December 3.

Bangkok was awarded hosting rights for this year's World Teqball Championships, making it the first city outside of Europe to stage the event.

The championships are being held at two venues:

  • From November 29 to December 1 at Hua Mak Arena
  • December 2 and 3 at Bangkok Arena

The World Teqball Championships event in Bangkok is drawing a record number of players, at 214, and record number of participating countries, at 61. In addition, this year's championships are setting a record number of total matches, at 404. A record number of 126 matches will be streamed (including two gala matches), of which 24 of these will be broadcast. In addition to Australia and Oceania, every continent is being represented.

World Teqball Championships 2023 Categories:

Men's Singles: 56  (Seeded Players: 8 and 12 groups of 4 -->KO32-->KO16-->QF-->SF-->Bronze-->Gold)

Women's Singles: 39 (No seeded players, 3 groups of 4 and 9 groups of 3 -->KO32-->KO16-->QF-->SF-->Bronze-->Gold)

Men's Doubles: 46 (No seeded players, 10 groups of 4 and 2 groups of 3 -->KO32-->KO16-->QF-->SF-->Bronze-->Gold)

Women's Doubles: 27 (No seeded players, 3 groups of 4 and 5 groups of 3 -->KO16-->QF-->SF-->Bronze-->Gold)

Mixed Doubles: 39 (No seeded players, 7 groups of 5 and 1 group of 4 -->KO16-->QF-->SF-->Bronze-->Gold)

The top two players will go through from the Group Stage to the Knockout Stage.
