"We are an international non-profit organization set up in Hong Kong in 2019 responsible for projects in the fields of education, water, sanitation & hygiene (WASH) and emergency relief in countries where Knorr-Bremse operates, such as in Asia-Pacific region. In Thailand, Knorr-Bremse Commercial Vehicle Systems (Thailand) Ltd. is located in Chachoengsao province.

"We are glad to see that recipient scholars can now follow their dreams and have bright futures ahead of them. It would be beneficial as well to make use of their time to practice and improve on their English communication skills, which will help them open and explore wider opportunities."

Mr. Sunphet Nilrat, managing director of EDF Foundation, said, "EDF is a non-profit organization focusing on education for needy Thai students through scholarship and various education support projects. We also cooperate with various companies to implement their Corporate Social Responsibility projects in schools and communities, and we are pleased to have worked with Knorr-Bremse Global Care Asia Pacific Ltd. for three years now.

"Our two organizations share the same basic philosophy, which is to assist students in need. We believe that education will help students secure a better future and break the cycle of poverty in their families."

Mr. Sutthipat Lakkhajorn, third year vocational certificate student of Chachoengsao Technical College under Vocational Education Commission, said, "Thank you to Knorr-Bremse Global Care Asia Pacific for the company's commitment to our educational wellbeing. The funds have truly benefited all scholarship recipients, including myself, who had received three years of scholarship.

I complement my scholarship working as a part-time singer in a musical band. However, my priority is education and during the first semester of this academic year, I was able to achieve 3.76 GPA. I really believe education will help me reach my goal and support family. Next year, I would like to continue to high vocational certificate education in electrical automobile."

Ms. Arthitiya Thongparn, another student scholar in grade 9 (Mattayom Sueksa 3) at Wat Ao Changlai School of Primary Education Area Office, Chachoengsao Area 2, said, "I thank Knorr-Bremse Global Care Asia Pacific for supporting my education since grade 7 (Mattayom Sueksa 1). I have always used the educational scholarship funds most diligently. I would like to continue further my studies at a vocational college in the field of logistics.
