Mr. Bunn Kasemsup, Co-Chief Executive Officer of SCGJWD Logistics Public Company Limited (SJWD), the largest integrated logistics and supply chain service provider in ASEAN, said that SCG Express Company Limited (SCG EXPRESS), a service provider for the delivery of express and temperature-controlled parcels, has joined forces with Fuze Post Company Limited (FUZE Post) to together provide temperature-controlled express transport and delivery services to meet the increasing demand for this type of service from the HORECA businesses, as well as from entrepreneurs in the food and beverage group (B2C customer group) and for retail customers (C2C customer group), both of which are also growing. This business is buoyed by the positive factor of increasing sales of fresh food, vegetables and fruits through e-commerce and social media channels that have recently been growing at a rapid pace. This is coupled with the growth spurt of the food businesses after the COVID-19 situation has abated and the tourism industry has recovered. As a result, there has been an upswing in the demand for orders and temperature-controlled deliveries of raw materials that can maintain product quality and freshness.

The partnership with FUZE Post will help to support and increase service potential for customers as well as expanding the service capabilities to cover all provinces in the country along with the ability to provide next-day delivery service in all Muang districts in every region of the country. Also, there will be a flexibility to provide delivery services for parcels in a wide variety of dimensions, from regular sizes to large and extra-large parcels. Moreover, the service will be able to handle heavy parcels weighing up to 100 kilograms per parcel, thus being able to cater to diversified customers' needs.

"SCG EXPRESS has the experience and expertise in express transport that requires temperature control. Therefore, we believe that this cooperation will help to strengthen the confidence of the Company's customers that they will receive quality services with deliveries of raw materials and produce that will retain their optimum quality and freshness upon reaching the hands of end recipients in order to create utmost satisfaction with exceptional services from SCG Express and FUZE Post," Mr. Bunn added.

Mr. Charvanin Bunditkitsada, Co-Chief Executive Officer of SJWD, said FUZE Post is a temperature-controlled express delivery service provider that is a co-invested venture of three companies, namely, Thailand Post Co., Ltd., SCG JWD Logistics Plc. and Flash Express Co., Ltd. incorporated at the end of 2021, with SCG EXPRESS cooperating to provide support in the delivery of parcels to customers with insurance at appropriate rates against damages to products and produce while being transported to boost customer confidence.

This significant cooperation is expected to help increase the positive response from the existing customer base and improve the opportunity to expand to new customer bases that have never availed themselves of this type of service. It is expected that in 2024 the volume of temperature-controlled express parcel delivery will double to approximately 500,000 items.
