Having the honor of presiding over the ceremony, Mr. Kenichi Yamato, Krungsri President and Chief Executive Officer, remarked on the collaboration for this event that "The Krungsri-MUFG Business Matching Fair 2023 is a significant endeavor where Krungsri and MUFG join forces to expand growth opportunities for our customers. We have continued to host this event despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic by maintaining it in a virtual setting during that time. This year's event marks the first physical event in four years, and we have seen customer participation across various industries. The impressive presence of over 100 entrepreneurs from Thailand and Japan reflects a sustained interest in expanding businesses into Thailand and ASEAN. Notably, we have successfully matched over 250 business pairs."

Alongside the business matching activities at the Krungsri-MUFG Business Matching Fair 2023, Krungsri has also garnered support from the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) to provide valuable knowledge, insights, and business advice for Japanese corporations seeking expansion opportunities in Thailand and ASEAN nations. Additionally, Krungsri has collaborated with various partners and allies, including Zeroboard Inc., a Japanese startup specializing in cloud technology for calculating and visualizing greenhouse gas emissions within supply chains. The Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), which showcased comprehensive Smart Energy Solutions at this event, and Bureau Veritas, an expert in planning ESG Roadmaps and quality assessment and certification in occupational health and safety, environment, and social responsibility areas, have joined forces to introduce strategies for conducting business within the ESG framework. This collaboration empowers customers to advance and strengthen their long-term business ventures with a focus on responsibility.

"Krungsri's collaborative network with MUFG is a strategic strength. This enables us to deliver unique services to our business customers, leading to our success in business matching endeavors. We would like to extend our gratitude to all our business customers, partners, and attendees for their ongoing cooperation. Krungsri is committed to constantly innovating and developing new products and services that cater to evolving needs, ensuring enhanced value for your business." Mr. Kenichi concluded.
