GreenYellow, a leading energy turnkey services provider in solar projects and energy efficiency, is proud to announce its partnership with King Park Avenue Hotel, a luxurious hotel nestled in the heart of suburban Bangkok. This collaboration introduces an innovative Cooling as a Service (CaaS) model, which helps King Park Avenue Hotel optimize energy efficiency without the burden of initial capital investments and ongoing operation and maintenance costs but also contributes to their sustainability efforts. By utilizing this sustainable CaaS approach, the hotel can significantly reduce electricity expenditures while also minimizing its environmental footprint and advancing its commitment to sustainable business practices.

In conducting a detailed assessment of King Park Avenue Hotel's cooling infrastructure, GreenYellow's experts identified opportunities for significant improvement. GreenYellow recognized that the existing system had more capacity than needed, leading to excessive electricity consumption. Notably, the chiller and cooling tower components were identified as the primary contributors, accounting for 70% of the hotel's electricity consumption. Therefore, GreenYellow stepped in to optimize the cooling system by adjusting the chiller and cooling tower capacity to match the hotel's specific cooling requirements. This involved upgrading and replacing the chiller, cooling tower, and pumps to achieve greater efficiency and substantial cost savings for the King Park Avenue Hotel.

With this installation, King Park Avenue Hotel anticipates annual cost savings of 2.4 million Thai Baht, coupled with substantial reductions in energy consumption amounting to 625 MWh and a commendable decrease in CO2 emissions, amounting to 282 tons per year.

GreenYellow's Energy Efficiency Programs represent a fully financed turnkey solution, offering clients the means to significantly reduce their energy consumption, leading to substantial savings on energy bills. This comprehensive approach focuses on identifying and harnessing every opportunity to curtail energy consumption in major equipment, including chillers, air compressors, boilers, heaters, AHUs, and lighting systems. GreenYellow oversees each stage of this comprehensive process, encompassing feasibility studies, both technical and commercial, design, construction, licensing, operation, maintenance, and advanced monitoring. Notably, clients enjoy these benefits without any upfront financial commitments.

Mr. Praveen Punyaskulwong, Managing Director of King Park Avenue Hotel, said, "Our commitment to operating efficiently is just one part of our broader mission to protect the environment, not only for our guests today. By partnering with GreenYellow, we are able to become more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly, as well as save costs, enabling us to direct resources towards elevating our guest experience."

Frank Glueck, CEO of GreenYellow Thailand and Asia, added, "At GreenYellow, we are committed to improving our clients' energy efficiency and supporting the Thai government's environmental goals. We are thrilled to have successfully implemented CaaS and helped King Park Avenue operate more efficiently. Our partnership with King Park Avenue also demonstrates our shared commitment to making a positive impact on our society and the environment."

GreenYellow's core business model centers around providing fully financed, tailor-made energy solutions that empower clients to reduce their electricity expenses and environmental footprint. GreenYellow's portfolio includes Solar Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) and Energy Efficiency Agreements. GreenYellow takes the extra step of providing complimentary operation and maintenance services, guaranteeing both efficiency and performance while facilitating energy savings. GreenYellow's vision aligns closely with the Thai government's objectives to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 40% by 2030 and achieve net-zero emissions by 2050.
