In line with Kenvue's Healthy Lives Mission which aims to advance the well-being of both people and our planet, Kenvue Thailand has deployed 4IR technologies for more sustainable resource management across site operations.   For instance, advanced technologies like data analytics, robotics and digital twin technology, are implemented to achieve optimized energy and logistics performance at the site.   From 2018 to 2023, the site reduced water utility intake by 35%, reduced energy-related consumption (scope 1&2) by 34%, with correlating greenhouse gas emissions reduction by 29% normalized for production volumes, and improved container utilization by 35% leading to more efficient transportation.

The Kenvue site in Bangkok has received its original WEF's End-to-End (E2E) Value Chain Lighthouse designation in 2022.

"We are incredibly delighted to have been recognized for our efforts to build lasting positive change for people, communities and the planet we call home," said Veeraya Kaewwilai - Senior Director, Thailand Operations in Kenvue. "We have sought to build a state-of-the-art site that serves as a strategic global operations hub for the Company, manufacturing products such as Listerine (R), Johnson's Baby, Aveeno (R), and Neutrogena (R), exporting to markets across Asia-Pacific, Europe, and North America. This honor is a reflection of our effective adoption of 4IR technologies to enhance operational excellence, build a future-ready team and workplace as well as fuel the company's long-standing commitment to sustainability."

With the new WEF designation, Kenvue's Bangkok site is among the select group of manufacturing sites that serve as beacons for the world in representing the leading edge of technology adoption at scale and exemplifying the type of production approach that can drive the next engine of global economic growth. They demonstrate how forward-thinking engagement of technology can create a better, cleaner world through new levels of efficiency in manufacturing.
