Mr. Ravi Bordia, General Manager for Kenvue Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Myanmar*, said, "As the world's largest pure-play consumer health company by revenue, Kenvue is committed to advancing the well-being of both people and our planet through our Healthy Lives Mission. We innovate with sustainability in mind, increasing the use of recycled and renewable plastic, designing packaging for recyclability, and introducing refillable product options across our portfolio. Watsons is a critical partner in empowering consumers to take care of their health with our brands and advancing shared sustainability goals and commitments.
Mr. Neti Meenmanee, Trading Director at Watsons Thailand, said, "As a leading health and beauty retailer in Thailand, Watsons is very delighted to work on the Green Smile campaign with Kenvue. Wherever we are in the world, Watsons is working to make a positive impact through our sustainability pillars - Planet, People and Products. And the Green Smile campaign will be a great encouragement for them to make the world cleaner every time they make a purchase."
Customers can join the Green Smile campaign by simply purchasing health and beauty products that come with more sustainable packaging from three brands by Kenvue, including Neutrogena which offers refill pod that uses 89% less plastic compared to overall jar packaging and that customers can immediately replace it in the vessel they already have to help reduce plastic waste. As for Listerine and Aveeno, their packaging is made from 30% recycled plastic and designed to be fully recyclable.
Under this campaign, Kenvue is also organizing a beach cleaning activity with customers and employees at Nang Rong Beach, Sattahip District in Chonburi, in March 2024, to help preserve the environment, reduce garbage which causes ocean pollution, and on the other hand, giving back a cleaner and more beautiful view to mother nature.
