CRAFT and Stock.Room at Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok have taken coffee love to the next level by partnering with KARO, provider of Thai specialty artisanal coffees from beans grown by farmers in the Gem Forest, Nan province. The exclusive blends not only provide guests with exceptionally enjoyable brews, but align with the hotel's mission to work closely with local partners to support local communities and environmental sustainability.

KARO is the brainchild of Karo Iyash, a Sri Lankan-Maldivian who has dedicated wholehearted enthusiasm to bringing Thailand's great locally grown coffee beans into their well-deserved spotlight. He and his passionate baristas travel to coffee farms and roll up their sleeves for every step of the production process, from sourcing ethical green coffee beans to roasting and blending them for uniquely Thai coffee experiences.

The trio of KARO handpicked blends available at CRAFT and Stock.Room from 10 January 2024 include:

Crafty Premium Blend: This signature KARO blend, available only at CRAFT, is made with 40 percent Thai Robusta and 60 percent Thai Arabica with notes of clementine, black cherry, nutmeg and honey. It is savoured spectacularly in americano, espresso, dirty, americano orange, and cold brew.

Kimpton Blend: Available only at CRAFT, this choice of 100 percent Thai Robusta medium roast showcases notes of peach, olive, caramel and cacao nibs. It is most highly recommended in americano, espresso, latte, cappuccino, and dirty.

Stock.Room Blend: Exclusive to Stock.Room, this dark roast Thai Robusta blend perfectly pairs with the hearty eats at the 5th-floor grocerant. Subtle undertones of liquorice, cola, toffee and brown sugar enhance the taste sensation and are best enjoyed in americano, espresso, latte, cappuccino, and mocha.

Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok's convivial lounge CRAFT is open daily from 7:00 a.m. until midnight and Stock.Room is open for lunch from Monday to Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. and daily for dinner from 5:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m.
