Mark Kuo becomes the new Country Manager of Pfizer Thailand

Pfizer Thailand has announced the appointment of Mark (Chun-Hao) Kuo as the new Country Manager, succeeding Deborah Seifert who moves to lead a new established MISP Cluster of Pfizer, Emerging Markets, Asia.

In his role of Country Manager, Mr. Kuo will lead the organization of close to 200 colleagues to deliver "Breakthroughs that change patients' lives," as part of Pfizer's purpose-driven growth blueprint through Pfizer's innovative portfolios in primary and specialty care as well as oncology. He will also play his crucial role in the development and execution of country's strategic plan for Pfizer Thailand to achieve its strategic goals and financial objectives through the effective drivers of the Glocal business model. His priorities are to strengthen corporate culture and talent development as well as to explore partnership opportunity with healthcare providers, governments, and local communities to improve access to innovative medicines and vaccines for Thai people country wide.  Furthermore, he will ensure Pfizer Thailand is one of the most trusted healthcare company, and the employer of choice apart from ensuring company's good reputation and commitment to compliance and integrity.

He joined Pfizer in 2004 and has held various leadership roles throughout his career.  With over 19 years of combined experiences in several regional and local functions in addition to his expertise and experience gained from many subsequent responsibilities in the organization, he was promoted to be EM Asia Regional Lead for Vaccine and Internal Medicine Therapeutic Area based in his home country Taiwan prior to his appointment to lead Pfizer Thailand.

Mark, with his diverse and in-depth pharmacist knowledge, background, and strong leadership skills, will bring more than 2 decades of his extensive experiences in pharmaceutical marketing, sales, strategic planning, business operation and development as well as projects management to the table to achieve company's ambitious goals of changing more patients' lives with Pfizer's reliable and affordable breakthrough medicines and vaccines.

Mark Kuo holds a bachelor's degree in pharmacy from Taipei Medical University in Taiwan, and an MBA degree from University of North Caroline, USA. He is also a certified pharmacist in Taiwan.
