Hotel Sensai Launches Omakase by Sensai Japanese Restaurant Under Executive Chef Poommipat Issarasupawan

Omakase by Sensai celebrates the mastery and enduring traditions of Japanese culinary arts, setting a new standard for Chiang Mai's fine dining scene. At Omakase by Sensai, traditional Japanese haute cuisine—with subtle flavors, delicate textures, and artful presentation—is prepared with an uncompromising allegiance to quality and using seasonal, fresh ingredients.

Distinguished Executive Chef Poommipat Issarasupawan has accumulated over a decade of culinary experience within esteemed Thai establishments. He takes an innovative approach to his cuisine: "First, I imagine the overall presentation that I would like it to be and then find the right ingredient and decoration one-by-one to match with the original idea. Once I have all the components, I start to draw the second time in detail with all components that I found."

The chef's use of high-quality ingredients, imported daily, ensures a premium omakase experience. The menu varies based on what ingredients are in season, giving discriminating diners a reason to return frequently and enjoy the chef's latest creations.

Hotel Sensai Nimman Chiang Mai brings Japanese style and cuisine together with Thailand's traditional Northern Lai Thai heritage in its five star boutique resort. The hotel is guided by its commitment to "Timeless Elegance," sourcing local products produced by local people in Chiang Mai to use alongside Japanese touches in every corner of the property, from its exterior design to its rooms to its restaurants.
