KTC Partners with JCB to Offer Value for Members with 10% Credit Cashback on Every Spending in Japan

Mr. Tosapong Rangkawara, Head of Credit Card Marketing Division, "KTC" or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited, revealed that in the past year, there was a notable increase in the number of KTC JCB credit cardmembers choosing to travel and make purchases in Japan. The surge exceeded 200% year-over-year, as 2022 marked Japan's reopening to tourists post-COVID-19. Consequently, the total card spending in Japan saw a significant rise. Given Japan's continued popularity as a travel destination for Thai tourists this year, KTC has partnered with JCB International (Thailand) Company Limited to offer valuable privileges to members with 10% credit cashback by accumulating spending of 50,000 yen or more at a physical store in Japan with a KTC JCB credit card, excluding all types of online purchases from February 1, 2024, to April 30, 2024 (limited to 5,000 yen cashback per credit card digits throughout the program).

Those interested in applying for the KTC JCB ULTIMATE credit card (as the new primary card) and got their card approved between December 1, 2023, and February 29, 2024, will receive a 600 baht Lazada discount code upon purchasing 5 items or more within 30 days from the card approval date. Similarly, those interested in applying for the KTC JCB PLATINUM credit card (as the new primary card) and got their card approved between October 15, 2023, to February 29, 2024, will receive a 500 baht Lazada discount code upon purchasing 3 items or more within 30 days from the card approval date (terms and conditions apply).
