PwC Thailand appoints new CEO Pisit Thangtanagul

PwC Thailand has announced that Pisit Thangtanagul has been selected as the next Mekong Territory Senior Partner and Chief Executive Officer of PwC Thailand with immediate effect. His four-year term will end on 30 June 2028.

Pisit, a seasoned professional, has been with PwC Thailand since 1989, accumulating more than 33 years of experience in the auditing field. He has served clients from companies listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand as well as leading multinational companies across various sectors such as manufacturing, trading, real estate, telecommunications and technology.

Pisit is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. He holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting (Second Class Honours) from Kasetsart University, as well as a Diploma in Advanced Auditing and a Master of Science in Accounting from Thammasat University in Thailand.

Pisit succeeds Soo Hoo Khoon Yean, who served as the interim Mekong TSP and PwC Thailand's CEO since January 2024.
