It also serves as a forum for the exchange of academic knowledge and experiences, fostering collaboration among educators and students from diverse institutions. The Geoinformatics Innovation (GI) group spearheads research projects focused on the development or application of spatial data processing concepts on cloud platforms (Geospatial cloud computing), geospatial programming (Geoinformatics programming), spatial databases (Spatial Database), utilization of the Spatial Internet of Things (IoTs), big data processing (Big Data), Spatial Decision Support Systems, and the development of spatial modeling or digital virtual worlds (Digital Twin) to facilitate systematic spatial problem-solving.
