Furthermore, the forum serves as a platform to foster collaboration between the public and private sectors and facilitates business matching opportunities.
Following that, Asst. Prof. Dr. Nuttapon delivered a special lecture on the topic of Driving the Digital Economy with Artificial Intelligence Innovation. He stated that in this present time technology and innovation are pivotal mechanisms in propelling both the economy and society forward, giving rise to new business models and transforming consumer behavior, particularly with the advent of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Therefore, the government must spearhead key initiatives to prepare for AI development, including AI importers, readiness to accommodate AI development from abroad, AI providers, promoting domestic AI development AI Distributor, utilizing AI to enhance digital services AI Manpower, preparing digital workforce
for AI, and AI users, advocating for safe AI usage awareness among the populace. Furthermore, the emergence of AI creates challenges and impacts on intellectual property protection and utilization, such as copyrights, patents, trademarks, trade secrets, etc. The Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (MDES), through depa recognizes the importance and consistently advocates the creation and registration of digital intellectual property rights. Simultaneously, efforts are made to provide knowledge on AI technology. depa hopes that these initiatives will not only safeguard and uphold intellectual property but also propel the digital economy and society forward, Thailand's competitiveness on the global stage.
