Originally hailing from Roi Et Province, Chef Yanisa has traversed the pastry landscape, garnering rich experience before returning to her beloved Chiang Mai. "Chiang Mai feels like a second home to me," Chef Yanisa, affectionately known as Chef Khwan, expresses with a smile. "The captivating environment, the vibrant local culture, and the burgeoning dessert scene here never fail to inspire me," she adds.

Chiang Mai, renowned as a hub for succulent strawberries in Thailand, boasts an optimal climate and terrain for cultivating this beloved fruit. Setting itself apart, Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai is dedicated to sourcing the finest strawberries, ensuring guests indulge in their sweet splendour year-round.

Collaborating with local strawberry farms such as Sakura-ichigo, renowned for their expertise imported from Japan, the Resort emphasizes its commitment to quality and sustainability. "At Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai, we prioritize sourcing the freshest, most flavourful ingredients," Chef Yanisa emphasizes. "Our partnership with farms like Sakura-ichigo reflects our dedication to sustainability and supporting local communities."

In celebration of this delightful partnership and the enchanting flavours of Chiang Mai, Chef Yanisa presents the Sweet Sensation dessert buffet extravaganza. Featuring more than 40 tantalizing treats, including beloved classics such as strawberry cheesecake, strawberry shortcake, and strawberry crepe cake, the buffet promises a symphony of sweetness. Guests can also savour live dessert stations, witnessing the artistry behind creations such as cronuts and chocolate fondue. Beyond strawberries, Chef Yanisa showcases an array of delectable desserts, including coconut cake, Japanese caramel custard, and an assortment of ice cream flavours.

"I wanted to spotlight the unique flavours of Chiang Mai's bounty and honour the hard work of local farmers," Chef Yanisa shares warmly. "By featuring strawberries prominently in our dessert buffet, we not only provide a delightful experience for our guests but also champion sustainability principles."

The Sweet Sensation extravaganza will be held on Sundays, April 14 and 28, May 12, and June 16, 2024, from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at KHAO by Four Seasons restaurant. Priced at THB 1,150++ per person, the experience includes soft drinks, tea, coffee, and one mocktail drink.
