ICI Paints's new MD creaates "Beautiful Bangkok" compaign to celebrate 72nd King's Birthday Anniversary

ICI Paints with dealers celebrates the auspicious year of "72nd King's Birthday Anniversary" by joining hands with Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) to create "Beautiful Bangkok" campaign beginning with ICI's new MD donating Dulux Paints for repainting pedestrian fly-overs around Bangkok to create the pleasant environment.
Mr. Lew Yick Koon, Managing Director of ICI 1996 (Thailand) Ltd., disclosed that ICI with dealers and BMA together create "Beautiful Bangkok" compaign as well wishing activity in the auspicious year of 72nd Birthday Anniversary of his majesty king Bhumipol Adulyadej. This campaign has the objectives to publicize, encourage and inspire Bangkokians to be more aware of creating good environment in their houses to look beautiful by donating Dulux Paints with the value of 1.2 million baht to BMA for renovating pedestrian fly-overs around Bangkok.
Besides, the company has set aside the budget of 8 million baht for supporting activities such as advertising, publicity, sales promotion for the whole year.
The campaign will also support "Na-Ban-Na-Mong" campaign of BMA having tried to persuade residents in Bangkok and Satellite cities to take care of their house fro--- to look neat and tidy.
"We would like the public to be aware of creating good mood in the house because paint is not only a decorative material but also a part of our live due to its influence to our mood which can help relax and create good atmosphere in the house during the current economic crisis" ICI's MD said.
Howeverm Mr. Lew Yick Koon believes that the campaign will stimulate the public awareness of "neat and tidy" houses because the survey tells un that in such economic crisis people tend to spend more time at home and good relationships among family members while environment of Bangkok as a whole should looks more beautiful and pleasant to live.
Now ICI's paints have the total market share more than 20% from ooverall 9,000 million baht of paint market. ICI currently has dealers all aroung the country. The company will continue to build up its distribution channel and coverage, by increasing the number of dealers according to the well-defined criteria to best serve the increasing demand of ICI's paints.
