COLORADO:McDATA Corporation said today it has entered a three-year OEM relationship with Compaq Computer Corporation in which Compaq will market and distribute McDATA's hardware and software products worldwide under the StorageWorks and SANworks brand names. McDATA's Galaxy-class 6000 Series Director and its Enterprise Fabric Connectivity Manager (EFCM) software are the first products that will be introduced by Compaq under the terms of this agreement.
QUARTERLY RESULT...
HONG KONG:CNOOC Limited today reported that third quarter production increased by 11 percent to 260,189 barrels of oil equivalent (boe) per day compared to 234,972 boe per day for the same quarter last year. The increase was "largely attributed to a 59% increase in crude oil production in the Bohai Bay." Oil and gas revenue totalled RMB 4.34 billion.
