Macau Government Tourist Office (“MGTO”) appoints new marketing representative in Thailand to help with the marketing program; MGTO placed its confidence in Branded the Agency, one of Thailand’s leading Public Relations and Event Marketing Consulting firms.

Speaking of the appointment, Director Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes said, “We are confident that appointing Branded the Agency will help Macau tourism by facilitating helpful information and news in cooperation with MGTO, as well as encourage Thai travelers to experience the many wonders of Macau. This year, we expect more Thai travelers to know the destination and finally visit Macau.

Director Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes continued “Macau will celebrate the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the Macau Special Administrative Region in 2014 and so we are going to promote Macau in overseas markets through intensive promotional campaign, in which we would like Thai travelers to experience the cultural side of Macau as well as the entertainment. This is yet another perspective of Macau tourism.”

Ms. Uracha Jaktaranon, Managing Director of Branded the Agency, stated “We are truly excited and honored to be working with MGTO as an ambassador for Macau Tourism. Thai people often perceive Macau as a city of entertainments, filled with world-class entertainment facilities that attract tourists throughout the year. In fact, Macau is also rich in fascinating cultures, blending the East and West together harmoniously in such a tiny place. It also has a registered World Heritage site.”

Ms. Uracha added, “Currently Macau is the land of two cultures and it will be interesting to see which way it will develop and grow. In the past, Macau has grown exponentially in terms of real estate, but it has maintained the roots of its old communities. Today, Macau is one of the most fascinating places in Asia.”
