Koi Art Gallery is proud to present "Phenomenon of Universal Truth" a solo art exhibition to be held from January 22 - February 21, 2016. This exhibition showcases the latest artworks by the Thai artist Thamrongsak Nim-anussornkul, also the assistant professor at the renowned Silpakorn University.

A graduate from Silpakorn's year of 2002, Khun Thamrongsak has had countless of exhibitions around Thailand with his unique works. His current exhibition at Koi Art Gallery is based on his personal experience with one of India's most ancient meditation techniques known as 'Vipassana.'

"By observing through my body & mind, I can sense many phenomena such as heat, cold, soft, hard, vibrate, calm, pain, etc. Every phenomenon guides me to enlighten my wisdom…… This universal truth is every phenomenon comes and goes, arising then passing away, nothing is permanent."

In this new day and age, meditation is not a new breakthrough, however it's become an incredible trend that is easily boasted about but not genuinely practiced. True awareness is not achieved within 5 minutes of deep breathing, but is a necessary commitment to one's body and mind, combined with an appreciation of complete silence. Vipassana offers a sense of self & grounding, which is extremely difficult to express with words.

Thai artist & profession Thamrongsak has taken his personal experience of his state of mind and converted the serenity onto his canvas, representing feelings and emotions through strands of abstract forms, colors and dots. His works reflect the philosophy & phenomenon of universal truth, which is that life is a state of impermanence, ever changing.
