Mr. Wayne Buckingham, Managing Director of Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel & Towers was the leader of Management members, Associates of the Hotel as well as the public in Bangkok to join effort in accomplishing the 10 km “Run for Children — The 4th Mini Marathon for UNICEF” organized recently by the Hotel’s staff at Suan Luang Ror 9. With the participation of the famous host from UBC Academy Fantasia, Khun Por as MC and the presence of many celebrities, the goal of raising the amount of Baht 134,500 was successfully achieved and will be donated to UNICEF to immunize thousands of children in the Asia Pacific region where more than 30,000 children die every day, mostly from preventable diseases.
