For the recent trip to Nakhon Ratchasima, the Raimon Land team were accompanied by staff from the Superstar reality TV show, the Orchestra Group, and four Thai celebrities: Kob Pimolrat, San Panomkorn, Mike Kingpayom, Ex Thitinand.
Raimon Land Chief Executive Officer, Nigel Cornick, said the company has been working closely with Habitat for Humanity Thailand by helping low-income families construct simple and affordable houses as part of the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme.
“Our assistance to Habitat for Humanity Thailand reflects the weight we place on the our entire CSR programme and commitment to the mission of building a better environment by allocating resources to projects that provide a positive contribution to Thailand,” Mr Cornick said.
Founded in 1998, Habitat for Humanity Thailand has provided 3,000 simple and affordable houses for needy families and served more than 15,000 people in 22 Thai provinces.
For the Nakhon Ratchaima project, Raimon Land and its partners helped build and reconstruct three houses in Ampur Seekew for Prakrong Krouythongsoongnern, Pakorn Koejantuek and Worakamon Babthong.
Other projects backed by Raimon Land’s CSR programme include the Human Development Foundation’s Mercy Centre in Klong Toey to develop housing for underprivileged children and the Plant A Tree Today Foundation to establish a nursery at the UNESCO-listed World Heritage Site, Khao Yai National Park.
