BEST WESTERN BRINGS ‘SANTA’S GOOD CHEERS’ TO CHILDREN

Monday 15 December 2008 12:30
Best Western International Asia office plays Santa Claus to children from the Foundation of Slum Child Care, an organization specially supported by the late Thai Royal Princess Galyani Vadhana, who was a strong advocate for the children’s welfare and education.

In its community activity, Best Western staff organized a Christmas party for around 80 children who were each given a special gift from staff Santas. The Slum Child Care Foundation has four centers in Bangkok serving a total of 800 children from the poor areas of the city.

The Best Western “Santa’s Good Cheers” party serves to mark the festivities of the holiday season. Best Western Vice President for International Operations — Asia Glenn de Souza said, “Children complete the holiday celebrations and at Best Western, we realize that and are committed to make an impact in any way we can. This is also a wonderful opportunity for our staff to give back to the community.”

As it expands its presence in the region, Best Western recognizes and values its responsibility to the community and looks for opportunities to serve and meet certain needs.
