Mr. Piyasvasti Amranand, THAI President, said that in accordance with the Ministry of Transport’s policy, THAI is prepared to provide additional convenience for Songkran travelers during 9-18 April 2010. In the case that there is an increase in travel demand, THAI will consider change to a larger aircraft type in order to facilitate passengers traveling during that period.
The Company recommends that during the Songkran festivities, passengers should spare additional time to travel to the airport due to holiday road traffic. Passengers are also advised to check flight schedule information and make reservations by calling Tel. 02-356-1111 during 06:00-17:00 hours and Tel. 02-545-3000 during 17:00-06:00 hours. THAI ticketing services remain in operation at THAI’s Head Office on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road from Monday-Saturday during 08:00-17:00 hours and on Sunday during 09:00-13:00 hours.
