Since joining Kempinski in 1989, Schroth has worked in Kempinski destinations in Asia, Middle East and Europe, where he oversaw the openings of Kempinski Hotel Beijing Lufthansa Center and Hotel Taschenbergpalais Kempinski Dresden. Before being appointed General Manager of Kempinski Hotel Bahia Estepona and Kempinski Hotel Airport Munich, he held the position as Hotel Manager at the legendary Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin.
Most recently, Holger Schroth successfully led the Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates Dubai as General Manager. His business acumen and operational expertise make him the ideal candidate to head Kempinski's landmark property in Bangkok.
The grand opening of the hotel on September 27, 2010 will be the first milestone of Holger Schroth's new assignment. The hotel will be Kempinski's flagship in Bangkok and first property in Thailand.
