Nobel Laureate from Cornell U. to Give Special Dinner Talk Friday Oct 17

The newly elected Advisory Board and Executive Committee of the Cornell Alumni Club is organizing a special dinner lecture on "Science and Technology in the 21st Century: Implications for Thailand" at the Le Meridien President Hotel, Bangkok on October 17, 1997.
Guest speaker, Professor David M. Lee, a Professor of Physics at Cornell University, will deliver talks on the timely topic of "Science and Technology: Implications for Thailand." Professor Lee, a recipient of many outstanding awards, received the prestigious Nobel Prize Laureate in Physics in 1996 for his discovery of the Superfluid phases of liquid helium-3.
This dinner lecture will be co-sponsored by the Thai Chamber of Commerce and the Chinese Studies Center, Institute of Asian Studies, CU.
