zuma Sunday izakaya-style ‘Baikingu Brunch’ comes to Bangkok!

Regulars of zuma in Hong Kong, Dubai and Miami have long enjoyed the Sunday brunch for several years, and this popular ‘Baikingu Brunch’ is now available at zuma Bangkok, the vibrant Japanese restaurant located at the St. Regis Bangkok.

Children aged ten and under are welcomed complimentary for the unique Japanese izakaya brunch concept of informal eating and drinking, designed for groups of friends and families.

zuma’s Sunday Brunch is priced at Baht 1,280++ per person and is available from 11:00 a.m. — 3:00 p.m. every Sunday.

Highlights of starters and salads from the open kitchen counters include a delectable array of live oysters, tuna tataki with marinated red onions and chilli ponzu, housemade tofu with barley miso, and chilled cold soba noodles -- as well as hot appetizers from the charcoal Robata grill.

An open sushi counter features a selection of sashimi, and a variety of sushi maki rolls such as Ebi Tempura Maki with pickled burdock, mentaiko and yuzu mayonnaise; and spicy tuna roll with green chilli and wasbi tobiko.

Individual main courses such rib-eye steak with saut?ed mushrooms and wafu sauce, Salmon teriyaki fillet with pickled cucumber, and and lamb cutlets with hot pepper spices are made fresh from the open kitchen and served straight to the table. Children will enjoy specially created selection of healthy and nutritious main course choices.

A platter of zuma’s creative mouthwatering desserts, designed for sharing, completes the zuma Sunday ‘Baikingu Brunch’ experience.

zuma’s air-conditioned terrace also allows for al fresco dining outdoors amidst a rock garden and provides a versatile area to enjoy the afternoons, which is also popular for cocktails and special occasions.

To appease inquisitive minds, a Kids’ Corner for the children to play will keep the young ones occupied, in addition to colouring books and pencil, will enable them to make new friends, while the grown-ups can take leisurely pleasure in sampling the restaurant’s award-winning contemporary Japanese cuisine.
