KTC members offered the chance to participate in the creation ofThailand’s tallest bronze Buddha image: “Phra Buddha Metta Pracha Thai Trai Lokanat Gandhara Anusorn memorial statue, Under The Royal Patronage of Her Majesty The Queen”.

“KTC” or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited is giving all members who are faithful to Buddhism the chance to make contribution to the creation of “Phra Buddha Metta Pracha Thai Trai Lokanat Gandhara Anusorn memorial statue, Under The Royal Patronage of Her Majesty” This 32-meter tall standing image of Lord Buddha will be made of bronze and situated on an 8-meter tall foundation at Lan Phrataksina, which is regarded as Thailand’s tallest bronze Buddha image, situated at Wat Thipsukontharam in Kanchanaburi. The posture of this Buddha image is called “Somaphangka” with the monk’s frock draped over the hands, signifying the prayer for the rain.
