The highlight of the program is that all graduates are given real International Assignment abroad not just an internship and once their assignments are completed they can return to the headquarters in Thailand as Mid-level Executives.
The TUF Management Associate Program established in 2012 and immensely succeeded at developing Young Generation Leaders to support the rapid growth of Thai Union Gorup. Candidates for this program are graduate students from Thailand and overseas with at least a few years work experience. Each Management Associate are trained on the job in Thailand for two years before being assigned abroad for a further 2-3 years. Upon the completion of the program, the MAs will be fast tracked to managerial posts which, traditionally, used to require 10 years of work experience in the company. During the program, each MA will be assigned in, on a cross functional basis, different departments of a subsidiary companies from Production, Accounting, Marketing, Production & Quality Management and Raw Material Procurement.
Moreover, each MA will be assigned a mentor who is member of the management team who can be Thai or expat and with significant experience to coach the future managers. They are also given One-on-One Coaching by professional third party facilitators and HR consultant throughout the program.
